Moody September Couple Photoshoot at Bow Lake, Icefields Parkway
Bethany and Jacob had long dreamed of exploring the Canadian Rockies together, and when they reached out to me for their couple session, I knew Bow Lake would be the perfect spot. On a moody September morning, the low-hanging clouds, fall colors, and stunning mountain peaks set the perfect backdrop for their intimate, playful photoshoot in Banff National Park.
We met in the parking lot and walked directly to the beach, where the iconic Bow Lake greeted us in its signature blue hue. As the rain cleared just in time for our shoot, we were lucky to have the entire lake to ourselves, with few tourists around. The atmosphere was magical—quiet, serene, and incredibly romantic. It was the perfect setting for a photoshoot by one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in Banff National Park.
